We list clubs across Canada, the United States, Scotland, England, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and other curling regions. Coverage continues to grow as listings are added and claimed.

How do I use the Club Directory filters?

Start with Country if you want to narrow the list to one nation, then use Province, State, or Region to focus on a smaller area. You can also filter by club type, managed listings, clubs with websites, clubs with membership info, clubs with ice times, clubs with photos, recently updated clubs, featured listings, or Nearby if you want distance-based results from your current location.

How does the Nearby filter work?

Open the Club Directory, expand the listing filters, and use "Use my location" to allow browser location access. Once enabled, you can set a radius and switch between KM and MI. Nearby results are sorted by distance from your location.

When should I use Search instead of the directory?

Accepted Answer

Use Search when you already know part of a club name, city, event title, Club Exchange topic, or region and want faster direct matches. Use the Club Directory when you want to browse, compare clubs, or layer multiple filters together.

What is Club Exchange?

Club Exchange is the place where curling clubs share ideas, templates, examples, and success stories that other clubs can learn from and adapt.

Do I need an account to read Club Exchange posts?

No. Club Exchange posts are public to read. You only need an account if you want to share your own post, save things to your account, or take part in member features.

Do I need an account to use the site?

No account is required for browsing public club pages, the directory, events, bonspiels, or Club Exchange posts. You only need an account for actions like joining clubs, saving events, sharing to Club Exchange, using My Journal, or managing listings.

How do I find a curling club near me?

Use the Club Directory and turn on the Nearby filter, or search by club name, city, province, state, or region from the Search page. The directory is best when you want to browse with filters, while Search is best when you already know what you are looking for.

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign In" in the top navigation and then "Create account". You can register with your email and a password, or sign in instantly with your Google account.

What email notifications will I receive?

We send required account emails such as verification codes, password resets, and important account or club-related service notices when needed. If you opt in, we may also send optional general updates and club-related email notifications.

How do I unsubscribe from email notifications?

You can turn optional email notifications on or off from your profile settings at any time. If you turn them off, we remove you from the related email list. Required account and security emails may still be sent when needed to run your account.

How do I join a club on the site?

Find the club in the directory and open its page. If the club is managed on TheCurling.Club, you will see a "Request to Join" button. The club manager will review your request and approve it.

Where do I see announcements and events from my clubs?

Go to "My Clubs" in the navigation. Each club card shows the latest announcements, upcoming events, and fellow member names.

What is My Journal?

My Journal is your private curling logbook inside TheCurling.Club. You can record games, track scores by end, note ice conditions, save shooting percentages, and keep reminders about what worked or what you want to improve next time.

How do I use My Journal?

Open "My Journal" from your account menu and click "Record a game". You can log the date, game type, club or rink, opponent, position, result, end-by-end scoring, and personal notes. Entries stay tied to your account so you can track progress over time.

Can I see who else is in my club?

Yes. Expand a club card in your "My Clubs" tab to see the fellow members section. It shows the first names of all approved members. Email addresses are never shown to other members.

Can I join more than one club?

Yes. You can be a member of as many managed clubs as you like. They all appear in your "My Clubs" tab.

How do I leave a club?

Go to "My Clubs", find the club, and click "Leave Club". You can always re-request to join later if you change your mind.

I requested to join a club but nothing happened. What do I do?

The club manager needs to approve your request manually. You should receive an email if your request is approved or declined. If you have not heard back after a few days, try contacting the club directly using the email or phone number on their listing page.

How do I add my club to the directory?

Click "Submit a Club" in the navigation menu. Fill in your club details, including name, address, contact info, club type, and more. Once submitted, our team reviews it and publishes it within a few days.

How do I claim an existing club listing?

Find your club in the directory and click "Claim this listing" on the club page. You will need a free account. We will review your claim and grant you manager access once verified.

What happens after I submit or claim a club?

Your submission goes into a review queue. You will receive an email once it is approved and published. This usually takes 1 to 2 business days. You can track the status under "My Clubs" in your account.

How do I edit my club information?

Go to "My Clubs" in your account, find the club, and click "Edit". You can update the name, address, contact details, photos, ice times, club types, and more. Major changes, such as changing the club name or address, trigger a quick re-review.

How do I manage members?

In "My Clubs", switch to the "Members" tab to see all approved members. You can remove a member at any time by clicking "Remove" next to their name.

How do I approve or deny join requests?

In "My Clubs", check the "Join Requests" tab. It shows a badge count when new requests are pending. You can approve or deny each request individually. Members receive an email when their request is approved or declined.

How do I post announcements?

Go to your club public page and scroll to the "Club Announcements" section. As a manager, you will see a form to post a new announcement. You can optionally pin important ones to the top.

How do I add events?

Go to "My Events" in your account navigation. Click "+ Add Event" to create a new event for any of your approved clubs. You can set a title, description, start and end dates, location, price, and a link for more details.

How do I post to Club Exchange?

Go to "My Club Exchange" from your account menu, choose an approved club for context, and publish a post with a title, category, challenge, what you tried, what worked, and any helpful links or attachments. Claimed club managers publish right away, while other submissions are reviewed before they go live.

How do I add photos to my club listing?

Go to "My Clubs", click "Edit" on your club, and scroll to the Photos section. You can upload multiple images. A logo upload is also available separately. Photos appear in the gallery on your club public page.

Can I manage more than one club?

Yes. You can submit or claim as many clubs as you manage. All of them appear under "My Clubs" and you have manager access to each.

Any registered user can share to Club Exchange with club context. If you manage a claimed club, your post can publish right away. Other submissions go through review before they appear publicly.

Can I share on behalf of a club even if I am not its manager?

Yes. Choose the club for context first, then complete the form. Your post will show who shared it and which club it relates to, and it will go into review unless you are a manager of a claimed club.

How do I report incorrect information about a club listing?

On any club page, scroll to the bottom and use the "Report an Issue" form. Describe what is wrong and our team will look into it. If the club is managed, you can also contact them directly through their listing.
