By using TheCurling.Club you agree to these terms. We've written them to be as clear and plain-language as possible.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheCurling.Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Description of Service

TheCurling.Club is a free curling club directory and community platform. Clubs and their authorized representatives may submit, claim, and maintain listings on the site at no charge.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
  • You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

Emails and Communications

By creating an account, you agree that we may send account and service-related emails needed to operate the site, such as verification codes, password reset emails, approval updates, and important notices about your account or club activity.

If you choose to opt in, we may also send optional general updates and club-related notifications. You can change that preference from your account settings at any time.

Player Profiles

Registered members may create a public player profile by adding optional information such as a short bio, preferred playing positions, throwing hand, and the year they started curling.

  • Your first and last name and any optional profile details you submit are publicly visible on your player page
  • Your profile photo, if set, is also displayed publicly
  • You can update or remove your profile information at any time
  • Your email address is never shown publicly
  • Your name appears in club member lists only for other approved members of that club

Club Listings

By submitting or updating a club listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the club or provide the information, that the information is accurate and up to date, and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
  • Using the site to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Scraping or harvesting data without written permission
  • Interfering with the site's operation or security

Intellectual Property

The site design, code, and original content are the property of Skynr Labs. Club names, logos, and descriptions remain the property of their respective clubs.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to help operate TheCurling.Club, including services for hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, and performance. Those providers may include companies such as Cloudflare and Resend, and your use of the site may involve technical processing by those services as part of delivering the platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The site is provided as is without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listing information.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skynr Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
