Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you submit or claim a club listing we collect the details you provide about the club (name, city, province, contact info, etc.).

We also collect standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. We never see individual user journeys — only aggregated trends.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to any third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Club listing data you submit — name, city, website, etc. — is published publicly on the directory. Your account email is never displayed publicly.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion your account and any personal information associated with it will be permanently removed.

Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. All traffic is served over HTTPS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global network.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
